Antar Mouna

Antarmouna is a meditative practice to work on the experiences of the senses and the mind and to build the witnessing attitude. It leads to acceptance and inner calmness and prepare one for Dharana (Practice of Concentration)

The cause of all the stress and tension that we experience in our life is not outside us, but is dependent on

the way we handle and process our experiences. Antar Mouna, which means inner silence, is a very

effective technique where we observe our inner experiences in a systematic manner without prejudice,

and break the chain of conditioned reactions to situations by cultivating the witnessing attitude. It leads

to acceptance and inner calmness and we become better equipped to form appropriate responses to the

challenges of life. It also prepares the mind for dharana, practice of concentration.
