Vajrasana is a very special asana. It stimulates the vajra nadi, one of the most important channels of prana in the body, running from the tailbone to the head.
When the vajra nadi is active and free of blocks, benefits are felt at various levels. There is a calming effect on the mind and a sense of peace within. Blood circulation in the lower abdomen improves, and the digestive, excretory and reproductive organs receive a positive boost.
There is a group of asanas practised from the base position of vajrasana, which is referred to as the Vajrasana Series. Each asana in the series has its unique benefits while incorporating the common goal of vajra nadi stimulation. Let us explore these asanas in depth during this Yoga Anubhava program.
The sessions will consist of Asana, Pranayama, Relaxation and Discussion
